The company hopes to strengthen its presence beyond Europe.
Founded in 2010 in Italy, Speedline Truck has produced light-alloy aluminum wheels for buses, trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers, expanding its product range to commercial vehicles. It is part of the Ronal Group, which began in 1969 as a sand-molding wheel manufacturer and has expanded to become one of the leading players in the manufacturing of this component.
Since April 1, the German aftermarket organization and sales activities of the SPEEDLINE TRUCK brand have been merged under the new name RONAL Performance GmbH in Forst (Brandenburg), formerly RONLOG GmbH.
Under the leadership of Managing Director Michael Rothhass, all operational activities of the German aftermarket will be integrated into the new RONAL Performance GmbH organization as an independent business unit by the end of the year. The name change is intended to clearly highlight the new foreign sales activities.
The name change consolidates and expands the RONAL GROUP's market position. It also strengthens the brand awareness of the RONAL and SPEEDLINE TRUCK brands. Last but not least, with this step we also want to emphasize the importance of the Forst plant," explains Oliver Brauner, CEO of the RONAL GROUP, following the decision.
Mirco Herrmann, Executive Vice President Group Sales, adds: "This strategic restructuring is crucial to laying the foundation for a successful future for our aftermarket business. We expect this integration to also generate synergies in the truck sector. Furthermore, our long-term goal is to become one of the leading players in the aftermarket in Europe and to strengthen our presence in North and Central America, as well as in Asia."
