Luminator is one of the leading players in electronic schedules, displays, last-stop systems, and multiplex.
Luminator Brazil is part of the Luminator Technology Group, a global leader in providing passenger information systems, and recently obtained the prestigious ISO 14001 certification, a global milestone in sustainability, recognized for its excellence in environmental management. This seal was achieved after a rigorous nine-month process, which included adaptations and training to ensure that all company processes met the most demanding environmental standards. As a result, Luminator Brazil now boasts effective environmental risk management and a more sustainable performance, generating positive impacts for both the environment and society.
According to Esequiel da Rosa, the company's Quality Analyst, this certification reflects the continuous effort and commitment of Luminator professionals to environmental preservation. "This achievement places the company at a new level of recognition and responsibility in the market," the specialist states. In Brazil, only around 3,000 companies are ISO 14001 certified, compared to approximately 18,000 ISO 9001 certified, further highlighting the importance of this certification.
The ISO 14001 certificate, valid for three years, certifies that Luminator Brasil has implemented a robust Environmental Management System in accordance with the standard's requirements. This includes the adoption of environmental policies, planning, operations, and verifications to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, in addition to promoting sustainable practices.
ISO 14001 aims to help companies systematically manage environmental risks, protecting the environment from pollution and promoting sustainability. It also contributes to compliance with environmental regulations and encourages the adoption of greener practices, helping companies effectively identify and manage their environmental risks.
