The N60 NG engine is designed to operate on natural gas (CNG and LNG) or biomethane, utilizing stoichiometric combustion technology that reduces fuel consumption by up to 40% compared to diesel engines, as well as reducing noise emissions. Additionally, it emits up to 90% less nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and up to 10% less carbon dioxide (CO2) when fueled with natural gas. When using biomethane, CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 95%, contributing to the decarbonization of passenger transport.

The N60 NG engine has been selected by IVECO BUS to power the 170G21 manufactured in Córdoba. With the option of up to 9 cylinders for storage, the 170G21 BUS offers a range of up to 350 kilometers, ideal for metropolitan operations. Charging time can be completed in 20 minutes, minimizing the unit's downtime. The stoichiometric combustion technology of FPT Industrial's N60 CNG engine ensures the best fuel consumption in its class and lower noise levels. With 210 hp and 760 Nm of torque, it guarantees exceptional performance and efficiency in daily operations, delivering high power and maximum torque on any route.
