The Xinder EWR-L series electric wheelchair ramp is specifically designed for urban public buses. Installed beneath the vehicle chassis, it occupies no interior cabin space. Powered by an electric motor, the ramp extends and retracts with the simple press of a single-touch control switch. Constructed primarily from aluminum alloy, the unit is lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant, ensuring reliable performance even after prolonged exposure to the harsh underbody environment. This ramp is designed to facilitate smooth and effortless boarding and alighting for wheelchair users, while simultaneously maintaining unobstructed sightlines, passenger aisles, and emergency exits within the vehicle.
**Key Features**
**Concealed Storage, Unobstructed Views:** When stowed, the ramp sits entirely beneath the chassis; it does not obstruct the driver's field of vision, nor does it interfere with normal passenger boarding/alighting or emergency evacuations.
**Obstacle Detection & Safety Sensing:** If the ramp encounters an obstacle while extending outward, it will automatically halt operation to prevent pinching injuries or structural damage.
**Audible & Visual Alerts with Manual Override:** The ramp's operation is accompanied by continuous audible warning signals. Additionally, it features a manual emergency override function, allowing the ramp to be manually extended or retracted in the event of a power failure.
**Interlocking Protection & Anti-Slip Design:** Equipped with a door interlock function, the ramp cannot be activated unless the vehicle doors are securely closed. The platform surface features a textured, anti-slip finish to ensure that wheelchairs can board and alight without slipping.
**Optional Load Sensing:** An optional 15kg load-sensing feature is available to detect the presence of passengers or heavy objects on the ramp, thereby further enhancing operational safety.
