IBASE Technology has introduced the CMI211-1005, a compact expandable edge AI computer powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H Series processors.
The system integrates CPU, GPU and NPU computing engines and delivers up to 99 TOPS of AI performance. It is designed to support real-time inference, intelligent data processing and decision-making at the edge, especially in applications where local processing, compact hardware and high-speed connectivity are required.
The CMI211-1005 supports up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory and includes a PCIe Gen 4 x4 expansion slot. This allows system integrators to add AI accelerators, frame grabbers, communication cards or other application-specific modules according to project requirements.

For storage and connectivity, the unit includes two M.2 M-key sockets for NVMe storage and one M.2 E-key socket for wireless connectivity. This architecture supports flexible configuration for applications requiring high data throughput, local storage and connected system operation.
The system also provides three 2.5GbE LAN ports, dual USB Type-C ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, multiple USB interfaces and serial ports. These interfaces allow connection to cameras, sensors, displays and industrial equipment.
For bus and coach applications, compact edge AI computers can support onboard video analytics, driver monitoring, ADAS functions, passenger monitoring, sensor data processing, fleet telematics and connected vehicle systems. Local processing can reduce dependency on cloud connectivity and support faster response times for safety and operational functions.
IBASE positions the CMI211-1005 as a scalable platform for machine vision, industrial automation, intelligent retail, transportation and other space-constrained AI applications.
