Quicke introduces Q-Companion 2.0 control system with live weighing and implement recognition
Quicke has introduced the Q-Companion 2.0 control system alongside its updated Q-series loader range, adding new digital functions focused on precision, operational efficiency and workflow management in material handling applications.
The system includes automatic implement recognition, enabling attached implements to be identified and configured automatically without manual adjustments. According to Quicke, this reduces setup time and simplifies loader operation during daily agricultural and material handling tasks.
A new live weighing function provides continuous load measurements in 10 kg increments without requiring loader movement. Load data can also be accessed through the Quicke Mobile App via Bluetooth connectivity, allowing operators to monitor information both inside and outside the vehicle cabin.
Q-Companion 2.0 also incorporates digital activity logging functions that record handling operations and storage locations. The data can be exported as PDF documentation and shared digitally or printed using Bluetooth-enabled printers, supporting operational reporting and traceability.
Additional functions support feed preparation workflows through the Quicke Mobile App. Operators can prepare feeding recipes in advance and transfer them directly to the control system, which then provides guidance during mixer wagon filling operations to improve weighing accuracy and consistency.
When combined with the QE-command joystick, the system delivers weighing precision with accuracy down to 1 kg, according to the company.
Quicke stated that Q-Companion 2.0 is compatible with all Q-series loaders.
