
IBASE Technology has launched the ES1002 Edge AI Server, a new high-performance edge computing platform designed for AI inference, real-time analytics and data-intensive enterprise applications.
The system is powered by AMD EPYC Embedded 8004 series processors, supporting configurations with up to 64 cores and 128 threads. According to IBASE, the platform is intended to support edge AI workloads requiring high processing performance and scalable infrastructure capabilities.
The ES1002 supports up to six DDR5-4800 RDIMM memory slots with capacities reaching 576GB ECC memory. The platform also integrates five PCIe Gen5 x16 expansion slots, enabling the installation of GPUs, AI accelerator cards and additional network interface modules.
IBASE stated that the server uses a 4U rackmount chassis architecture designed to improve thermal efficiency and system stability during continuous high-load operation. The system additionally includes dual 10GbE connectivity to support high-speed data transfer and network-intensive deployments.
The company positions the ES1002 for enterprise application servers, data storage services, backup systems, network service nodes and edge AI infrastructure environments requiring scalable computing resources and flexible hardware expansion.
