
IBASE Technology has introduced the MBB1002, an eATX motherboard built for edge AI and data intensive computing environments. The platform is powered by AMD EPYC Embedded 8004 Series processors and is designed for applications that require high processing performance, fast data transfer, and scalable expansion.
The motherboard supports up to 576GB DDR5-4800 ECC memory and includes five PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, allowing system integrators to add GPUs and AI accelerators depending on workload requirements. It also features dual 10GbE LAN and support for high speed NVMe storage.
According to IBASE, the MBB1002 is intended for deployment in sectors such as smart manufacturing, intelligent transportation, AIoT, and edge computing infrastructure. For transportation related environments, this kind of computing platform could support backend or infrastructure level AI processing, analytics, and other high throughput applications where reliability and expansion capacity are critical.
