With the further development of its proven Double Ramp system to the new Comfort Double Ramp, the HÜBNER Group says it has reached a new milestone. In 2025 alone, HÜBNER has manufactured and delivered more than 1,085 units of the Double Ramp system. For this year, 2026, several hundred orders have already been received. “We are very pleased with the success of the Double Ramp and the high level of interest in the new developed Comfort Double Ramp,” says Florian Klotz, head of the business unit Ramps & Lift Systems at HÜBNER.

There are now more than 2,000 systems in use in markets around the world. The hybrid solution combines an electric and a manual ramp in a single module. If the system’s powered ramp is out of service, bus personnel have the manual folding ramp to deploy as a back-up, allowing the vehicle to remain in operation without interruption – and keeping downtime to a minimum. The Comfort Double Ramp can simple be installed and has a specially developed “comfort hatch”, access to all of the most important components. HÜBNER started the Double Ramp as an early concept around five years ago, has now evolved into a worldwide success story. Following successful projects in Madrid and Oslo where a total of more than 580 ramps were delivered, HÜBNER received orders from China for more than 501 ramps in 2024.
