Higer Bus Company Limited continues to strengthen its positioning in Latin America through a growth strategy focused on industrial expansion, proximity to local markets, and the modernization of passenger transport. The information was released by Marcelo E. Barella, Sales Director for South and Central America, who highlighted that the region is a priority within the company's global plan due to its growth potential and the fleet renewal processes currently underway in various countries.

One of the pillars of this strategy is the projection of an assembly plant in Brazil, scheduled to begin operations in 2026, with an initial capacity of approximately 500 units per year. This facility is conceived as an industrial and logistical hub that will allow for more efficient service to the South and Central American markets.

Local production represents concrete benefits for the Latin American market, including the reduction of import-related costs, faster delivery times, and better adaptation of vehicles to the technical and operational regulations of each country. Likewise, regional assembly facilitates the strengthening of after-sales service, timely access to spare parts, and specialized technical training for operators and maintenance teams.

Higer has managed to consolidate a significant commercial presence in the region, with notable operations in countries such as Chile and active participation in supply processes in strategic markets like Colombia, reflecting a growing demand for reliable, efficient, and competitive transport solutions. Brazil, due to its size and strategic location, is emerging as a key axis for regional productive integration and expansion into new markets.

The company has also placed a particular emphasis on the development of sustainable mobility solutions, incorporating state-of-the-art technologies in both diesel models and electric buses, aligned with emission reduction goals and the modernization of urban transport in Latin America. Added to this is a comprehensive focus on technical support, warranties, and continuous assistance, which are decisive factors for the decision-making of public and private operators.

Overall, Higer's strategy combines industrial investment, technology transfer, and a value proposition aimed at improving operational efficiency, sustainability, and the quality of passenger transport, contributing to the strengthening of the mobility ecosystem in the Latin American market.
