Gurit has launched StrucPro, a new range of high-performance epoxy systems designed for demanding composite manufacturing applications. Developed at Gurit’s UK facility, the portfolio expands its epoxy resins and adhesives offering with a focus on thermal stability, mechanical strength, and process reliability.

For bus OEMs and bodybuilders increasingly relying on composite structures to reduce weight and improve corrosion resistance, epoxy system selection is critical. StrucPro supports multiple production processes commonly used in bus body manufacturing, including resin transfer molding, infusion, filament winding, pultrusion, and wet compression molding.
The systems are engineered to deliver consistent curing behavior, low viscosity for effective fiber wet-out, and compatibility with a wide range of substrates, including metals. Thermal stability up to 200°C makes the range suitable for applications exposed to elevated temperatures, such as battery enclosures, roof structures, bonded panels, and tooling.
The StrucPro portfolio is structured into two main series. The 100 series targets standard industrial composite applications with glass transition temperatures below 100°C, while the 200 series is designed for higher performance requirements, offering glass transition temperatures above 100°C for specialist structural applications.

As bus platforms move toward greater electrification and modular composite construction, material systems that combine high strength, chemical resistance, and predictable processing are becoming a key enabler for scalable production and long-term durability.
