Continental is introducing its new Conti EfficientPro 5 commercial vehicle tyre featuring the vec2Sil silica compound, developed to maximise energy and fuel efficiency in long-distance transport and reduce carbon emissions. Continental's vec2Sil technology combines low rolling resistance and high mileage, so the new Conti EfficientPro 5 contributes to making transport vehicles energy-efficient on the move. Its environmental rating also helps to reduce toll costs.
Continental's development team has optimised vec2Sil technology specifically for long-distance transport. The innovative tread design with grooves that create gaps ensures good handling and braking behaviour, even on wet or snow-covered roads. This high level of grip ensures safe driving under all conditions.
The new Conti EfficientPro 5 is also ideal for electric commercial vehicles, making it “the first tyre in this segment to take the requirements of electric vehicles into account,” says Kaiser. With its higher load index and reinforced belt layers, the HS5 tyre guarantees excellent stability, durability and safety, even when handling heavy loads.
