VNAS product line - IP recorder for megapixel cameras as a compact 19" unit with a high recording capacity
The VNAS4100 video recorder provides mobile video and audio recording (DVR - Digital Video Recorder, NVR - Network Video Recorder) for up to 16 digital cameras in a compact and fanless housing with 1 HU and state of the art technology.
The video recorder is specifically matched to the requirements of public mass transit and is characterised by its very high video storage capacity of several terabytes.
The unit is capable of storing camera-dependent video pictures at up to 30 frames per second in 4CIF, VGA, SVGA, WXGA (1280x800 px) or full HD resolution. The camera images are stored on a removable storage medium with different capacities and a proprietary format.
The VNAS4100 supports different IP camera types in the video codex MPEG4-H.264. In addition, analogue video signals from existing cameras can be recorded as well through video encoders.
The VNAS4100 has an Ethernet interface for integration of the video system in modern passenger information systems and in vehicle control technology for the transmission of passenger information data, event-controlled video transmission or the generation of status messages. Another Ethernet interface is available for setting up a separate CCTV Ethernet network in the vehicle.
In addition, a multitude of project-specific enhancement possibilities exist that can be implemented as the need arises.
