Targa Telematics has obtained the TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) Level 2 label, reinforcing its position as a trusted technology partner for vehicle manufacturers. The assessment confirms the company’s strong information security practices, essential for collaboration within the automotive and mobility ecosystem.
Developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and managed by the ENX Association, TISAX® is the leading framework for assessing information security in the sector. Level 2 qualification allows Targa Telematics to meet the stringent requirements of OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, particularly in Germany.
The label ensures the company meets high standards for confidentiality, system availability, and personal data protection, fully aligned with GDPR. It also highlights the company’s broader commitment to secure digital transformation and reliable data management in connected vehicles.
“Ensuring high security standards in the management of data streams from connected vehicles is a fundamental requirement for efficient integration with OEM systems,” said Henning Wiefelspuetz, Head of OEM Business Integration. “Our TISAX® label, alongside our ISO 27001 certification, further validates the robustness of our approach.”
This milestone strengthens Targa Telematics' position as a reliable IoT and platform provider in the mobility space, particularly for projects involving data exchange with OEMs.
