MRS Electronic has introduced several new additions to its Micro PLC CAN product family, broadening its offering of compact, programmable controllers for on- and off-highway vehicle applications. Designed to either expand existing CAN networks or operate as standalone main controllers, these devices offer a space-saving, cost-effective solution for decentralized vehicle control.
The Micro PLC CAN family now comprises eight models, each tailored for different use cases—from engine fan control and light management to pressure monitoring in support systems. All controllers are freely configurable and programmable, making them suitable for custom applications in tight installation spaces where traditional large-scale PLCs are impractical or over-featured.
Key use cases include:

All Micro PLC CAN products provide CAN bus connectivity and are programmed using MRS Applics Studio, a visual programming interface designed to simplify development. A basic understanding of digital logic is enough to start creating automation logic without needing advanced programming skills.
Here’s a breakdown of key models:
MRS also offers DTM versions of the Micro PLC CAN and 4 ANA units, featuring DEUTSCH DTM connectors and reinforced thermoplastic housings. These are built for high-resistance against moisture, vibration, and temperature fluctuations, making them ideal for agricultural and construction applications. DTM connectors are also available for other MRS modules upon request.
All products are programmed with MRS Applics Studio, featuring a graphical drag-and-drop interface for simplified control logic design.
