From its base in Caxias do Sul, Luminator has been expanding through exports to manufacturers such as Marcopolo México, Volvo, Irizar, and Ayco, as well as major operators including Metrobús, RTP, Mexibús, ADO, Estrella Blanca, and Transpaís.
The company aims not only to maintain but also to expand its position through the introduction of new technological solutions. These include higher-resolution Multiline LED destination signs, a 21-inch TFT display for the Next Stop system, and its multiplex system, all of which have already been successfully deployed in markets such as Brazil and Chile.
These innovations were recently showcased at Expo Foro Movilidad 2026 in Mexico City, where, according to the company, they generated strong interest among both bus manufacturers and urban and intercity transport operators.
At the same time, the broader industrial context supports this expansion. According to data from Anfavea, Brazilian automotive exports to Mexico grew by 4% in the first months of the year, creating favorable conditions for Luminator’s strategy of strengthening its presence through exports and direct sales.
With a portfolio that includes electronic destination signs, next stop systems, TFT displays, multiplex solutions, and CCTV, Luminator continues to position itself as a key player in the digitalization of public transport across Latin America.
