Magnetic North Technology has completed a fully integrated onboard information system for Kuwait’s public transit network, addressing the country’s rapid urbanization and rising demand for intelligent mobility infrastructure. The deployment connects dispatch, passenger information and real time operational visibility into one coordinated architecture, improving efficiency for operators while enhancing the passenger journey.
The solution is built around three core intelligent terminals engineered for high reliability under extreme environmental conditions.
The P10 MADT serves as the driver centric HMI, consolidating route scheduling, vehicle status monitoring, intelligent safety alerts and driver attendance into a unified operational interface. This creates a controlled, data informed cockpit environment that supports more predictable daily operations.

The QL010 LED destination sign supports thirteen languages, including English, Russian and Arabic, enabling multilingual accessibility across Kuwait’s diverse ridership. Real time routing and service information is displayed with high clarity, giving operators more consistent communication across routes.
The QL022 AH onboard LCD TV is powered by an IoT enabled motherboard with an RK3568 Cortex A55 processor running Android OS. With extensive peripheral interfaces, it supports accurate stop announcements and flexible multimedia content delivery, giving passengers a more engaging and higher quality travel experience.

Execution of the project depended on close on site collaboration. Magnetic North’s technical team delivered adaptation and validation work in Kuwait’s high temperature operating environment to ensure robust system stability across all devices.
The deployment reinforces Magnetic North Technology’s growing presence in the Middle East and demonstrates the strategic role of integrated in vehicle information systems in advancing citywide smart mobility initiatives.
