Magnetic North Technology has successfully completed UN R130 certification for its Lane Departure Warning System, passing all required tests at the first attempt. The system achieved a minimum lane deviation performance of just 1 cm, confirming its accuracy, stability, and readiness for European deployment.

UN R130 certification is a key requirement under the EU General Safety Regulation and applies to lane departure warning systems used in commercial vehicles. Achieving certification on the first attempt reflects a high level of system maturity and alignment with current European regulatory standards.

The R130 milestone builds on Magnetic North Technology’s existing compliance track record in Europe. The company has previously achieved full certification for its Blind Spot Monitoring System under UN R151 and UN R159 regulations. Together, these approvals reinforce the company’s broader compliance framework for active safety systems within the EU market.

According to the company, strengthening regulatory compliance is central to its European growth strategy. By using EU regulations as a technical benchmark, Magnetic North Technology aims to accelerate the deployment of advanced driver assistance and active safety technologies that meet both current and upcoming safety requirements.

With multiple certified systems now validated under the EU General Safety Regulation, the company continues to position itself as a compliant and scalable technology partner for safer commercial vehicle platforms in Europe and beyond.
