Lubrizol has introduced AT9311, a new automatic transmission fluid (ATF) additive designed for both traditional and hybrid vehicles. The innovation simplifies lubricant production and enhances fuel economy, durability, and electrical safety, making it particularly relevant as hybrid and multi-speed systems become more prevalent in commercial fleets.

Tested across 100,000 km of real-world driving and backed by OEM-grade validation, AT9311 meets the performance needs of modern 9- and 10-speed transmissions while ensuring compatibility with emerging materials and ultra-low viscosity fluids.

Lubrizol’s Shanghai-based R&D and validation process demonstrates a strong local presence, ensuring that AT9311 addresses the specific needs of China’s fast-growing aftermarket. The additive’s single-package formulation reduces treat rates and production costs while meeting the complex demands of premium vehicles.

Already in use by leading oil brands and premium automakers, AT9311 is positioned to support long-term operational reliability in hybrid systems and electrified drivetrains—key concerns for the commercial vehicle industry moving forward.
