Bosch has presented an expanded ADAS product family combining software and hardware for assisted and automated driving and parking. The portfolio is designed as a modular system architecture that can be configured for entry, mid and high vehicle segments and supports assisted driving functions up to SAE Level 2.
Serial production of the mid segment variant is scheduled to begin in mid 2025 with a Chinese manufacturer, while the high segment version is expected to follow in summer 2025. Bosch has secured multiple customers in China, including BAIC, Dongfeng and Jetour.

A central element of the updated portfolio is a new radar sensor developed and manufactured entirely in house. The sensor integrates a Bosch designed system on chip, SoC, combining computing capability and signal processing within a compact footprint.
Vertical integration of the radar including chip development enables:
In addition to the radar, Bosch has introduced a new generation multi purpose camera and an inertial sensor unit for precise vehicle localization.
The ADAS product family is offered in three variants:
The differentiation is based on software scope, sensor configuration and computing performance. This modular approach enables OEMs to deploy consistent ADAS architectures across multiple vehicle lines while adapting functionality to target cost and performance levels.
In the mid segment configuration entering production in 2025, the system supports navigation linked assisted driving functions such as automated lane changes on highways. The driver remains responsible and must be ready to intervene.
Although initially presented in a passenger vehicle context, the underlying sensor fusion and compute architecture is relevant for buses and coaches where advanced driver assistance systems are increasingly required.
Potential applications include:
The availability of an integrated radar SoC platform supports improved functional safety, cybersecurity alignment and cost efficiency in large scale deployments.
