Arcol has been awarded ISO/SAE 21434:2021 certification for its Cybersecurity Risk Management System by LCOE-STH Technical Approval Service, part of the Foundation for the Promotion of Industrial Innovation. This certification confirms that Arcol meets the highest global standards for cybersecurity in automotive electronic systems.
The scope of certification covers the design and manufacture of rearview mirrors, camera-monitor assemblies for indirect vision systems, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Arcol’s framework ensures that potential cyber threats are identified, assessed, and mitigated throughout the entire product lifecycle — from concept development to production and maintenance.
By integrating digital risk management into all stages of its operations, Arcol safeguards the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of vehicle systems and data. The certification strengthens the company’s position as a trusted technology partner for OEMs seeking compliant, secure, and connected mobility solutions.
“Achieving ISO/SAE 21434:2021 reinforces our long-standing commitment to innovation, safety, and quality,” an Arcol spokesperson said. “It ensures that our products meet the expectations of both manufacturers and regulators worldwide.”
