Didcom´s Bluetooth wireless sensor solutions now more integrated
Based in Hermosillo (Mexico) and with more than 15 years of experience in the market, Didcom is a leading engineering and technological development company focused on offering specialized solutions for the automotive transport sector. Clients receive the implementation and integration of technologies for the effective management of their vehicle fleets and it is a Geotab reseller, with more than 4 million connected vehicles.
Since 2021, Didcom has developed its BLEG tool, which is a Gateway that manages sensor information with Bluetooth technology, with connection to the GeotabGO device to send the data collected in real time. Bluetooth sensors send information continuously, which the BLEG detects and transmits to the telematics device to which it is connected, to send the information to the monitoring platform and reflect the data in real time.
Didcom has now incorporated BLEG technology for use with the Technoton DUT-ES7 fuel sensor, produced in Belarus. This allows determining the current volume and its changes due to refills and fuel consumption in the vehicle's tank via Bluetooth®, thus providing a reliable log of the fuel level at specific dates and times, allowing the identification of consumption trends and anomalies that may represent situations of extraction or theft in the operation.
Fuel level records are obtained through Didcom BLEG and are transmitted in real time through the telematics device in the vehicle, sending all the information to the platform for visualization and analysis. Integration with sensors that incorporate available Bluetooth 5.0 technology allows monitoring a large amount of data for different needs: tire pressure, cold chain, passenger identification, door openings, etc.
Didcom is a partner in telematics solutions for Mobility ADO both in highway buses and BRT operations, as well as Urban Tampico and Transpaís in Mexico, as well as TIS Transportes in Chile.
